About The Hub Ministry

The Hub is an outreach arm of Park Avenue Baptist Church. The meaning of a hub is described like this; The effective center of activity or network. The Lord has called us to use sports and recreation to gather people from the community to His Church. The Church of Jesus Christ must again become ‘The Hub’ of the community. Not the local pub. As believers in Christ, the effective center of our lives is a personal relationship with Jesus. Our prayer as a church ministry is that through sports and activities, our friends and neighbors will come to experience the Ultimate Hub- ‘Jesus.’ In the coming and going on our campus, we pray that this community can see that we are different and produce life changes in those around us.
